Arsenal Football Programmes

These are the three programmes issued for the Northampton Town V Arsenal Hospital Charity Shield played in 1930, 1931 and 1932.

Arsenal won the first match 7-0 on 5 May 1930, the second match 1-0 on 4 May 1931 and the third match 3-2 on 10 May 1932. All three programmes are very rare issues.

 

5 May 1930
Teams were Preedy, Parker, Hapgood, Baker, Seddon, John, Hulme, Jack, Lambert, James, Bastin. Scores were Bastin 3, Hulme 2, Lambert, Jack.

 

4 May 1931
Teams were Harper, Parker, Hapgood, Diaper, Roberts, John, Hulme, Jack Lambert, Bastin, C.Jones. Scores were Lambert.

 

10 May 1932
Teams were Moss L.Compton, Hapgood, Male, Haynes, John, Beasley, Stockill, Lambert, C.Jones, Bastin. Scores were Lambert 2, Beasley.
